As founder and CEO of Sky Nurse Consulting, Jennifer Dizon dives into medical records to help attorneys understand medical jargon, procedures and course of events, helping them strengthen their cases. She provides medical case management for workers’ compensation and catastrophic injury claims. Additionally, she attends and reports on independent/defense medical examinations. Her clinical background is in neonatal intensive care, cardiac intermediate care and cardiac surgical step down. She also has experience in public relations, journalism and event management. She holds bachelor’s degrees in nursing and communication; and registered nurse (RN) licenses in Virginia; Washington, D.C., Washington state and Texas. She is a certified case manager (CCM) nationally, and worker’s compensation case manager (WCCM) in Maryland and North Carolina. She maintains her Basic Life Support (BLS). She is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, National Association of Neonatal Nurses, Medical Reserve Corps, Association of Junior Leagues International, Association of Health Care Journalists, San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and Filipino American National Historical Society. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, beaches, dance, yoga, standup paddle boarding, researching superfoods and spoiling her chihuahua.
