Transplants for Children was created in 1986 by Sharon and Eric Sutton in response to their own difficult personal experience in securing a liver transplant for their son. Although having endured the tragedy of losing their son, the Sutton’s were inspired to honor his memory by creating an organization dedicated to assisting families manage the daily challenges associated with the transplantation.
