We are a center for treatment of chemical dependency, both to alcohol and other drugs. We provide intensive treatment in a residential setting for adult men only. We also provide supportive residential treatment for adult men, in which clients must seek out and find a job. The duration of stay is approximately 90 days. Clients in the initial intensive phase stay in the facility and may leave only for medical appointments and the like, and are transported by staff. Clients in supportive treatment leave the facility in the day and a special team of counselors provides treatment services in the evening. We also provide outpatient treatment for adult men and women, together with parenting classes and family groups. We have been in business in San Antonio since 1963, and were previously known as The ARC. We have excellent rapport with our clients and outstanding outcomes measures. We serve medically indigent clients through state and federal grants, and also provide fee for service treatment for very reasonable rates.
