Approximately 40 area landlords and property managers attended Haven's Landlord Open House. They learned more about the services available at Haven for those experiencing homelessness and heard from a landlord who has successfully rented to previous Haven clients. Representatives from SAWS, Opportunity Home, and SAMMinistries were also available to answer any questions. #havenforhope #hopeliveshere #transforminglives

This year's Fiesta staff luncheon and Pooch Parade were an absolute blast! Our annual luncheon brings our Haven staff together for a time of community and fun. Our annual Pooch Parade is always a hit among staff and clients and brings joy to everyone on campus. This year's pooches were exceptionally adorable and everyone embraced the Fiesta spirit. 𝑭𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚! In honor of Fiesta and the culture of our amazing city, Haven will be celebrating all things Fiesta every Friday. Today's feature is Fiesta Firsts at Haven featuring our newest campus events! This year, Haven added two new events to our campus Fiesta traditions: Fiesta on the Field, and our Shoe Box Float Parade! These events were created to bring Fiesta joy to our clients and staff and to encourage our community to come together and celebrate each other. Fiesta on the Field was a NIOSA inspired event complete with Elote, Paletas, and Aguas Frescas. We had a DJ to keep the party going with festive music and door prizes for our clients and staff. The Shoe Box Parade was a fun way to encourage our staff to work as a team in their departments and earn bragging rights for the best float. Our South campus clients had a blast watching the parade.
