Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) employee James Clark was recently recognized by our US Navy customer for outstanding support. James, a senior machinist at the Naval Surface Undersea Warfare Center - Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) prototype and fabrication shop, was able to deliver a nine-foot, stainless-steel, uniquely designed baseplate that required an enormous amount of precise machining — on a tight deadline. When it was delivered for installation, the assembly fit perfectly. For his commitment to going above and beyond to ensure the Navy’s project remained on schedule, James received a letter of appreciation from the base leadership. Congratulations, James, on your well-deserved recognition!
